I also thank Him for answering my prayers and your prayers in granting you all victories especially the one against the KSA and the final against Oman. On December 13, 2006, I traveled to Dubai. It was my first trip to the Middle East in about 20 years. I was stunned with your nation and being a specialist music composer and singer in tourism theme songs, I was inspired and composed a very beautiful song “United Arab Emirates” in less than a week after my arrival. I later wrote 3 other songs related to tourism in your nation. They are “Dubai”, “Burj Al Arab” and “Madinat Jumairah” . I also Thank God for your nation’s victory, an answer to many prayers including mine; about 8 seconds before your excellent player “Esmaeel Matar” scored the goal that granted the UAE the victory over the KSA, I had asked God Almighty the following question and I state it here exactly as I said it while watching the game at my cousin’s house in Rabieh, Lebanon: “My God, how shall it be that the UAE score a goal which results in a 1-0 victory?” And The God of the Heavens responded to my humble prayer and to all UAE fans’ prayers, about eight seconds after I finished my ascending question. Inspirational True Story: Please allow us to share with you a moving and historically true story we came across recently where the love conveyed
between four souls changed the history of the world, our world. It started with a poor Scottish farmer named Fleming. One day, while trying to make a
living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and
struggling to free himself.
Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death. The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman’s sparse
surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Fleming had saved. The nobleman was
expecting to repay the farmer for saving his son’s life.
“No, I can’t accept payment for what I did,”the Scottish farmer replied, dismissing the offer. At that moment, the farmer’s own son came to the door of
the family hovel.
Is that your son,” the nobleman asked?
“Yes,” the farmer replied proudly.
“I’ll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the same education my son will enjoy. If the lad is anything like his father, he’ll no doubt grow to be a man
we both will be proud of.”
And that he did. Farmer Fleming’s son attended the best schools, and eventually graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital Medical School in London. He went on
to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.
Years afterward, the same nobleman’s son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia. What saved his life this time was Penicillin.
The name of the nobleman was Lord Randolph Churchill. His son’s name – Sir Winston Churchill.
